O'Donnell Joinery is a family run company, established 30 years ago by Paul O’Donnell, a trained and time-served joiner.
Today, Paul and his Wife Lynn manage the operations of around 30 joiners, co-ordinating multiple projects that could be situated anywhere in the country and it is under their guidance and management that O’Donnell Joinery has attained the enviable position it enjoys today at the forefront of joinery contracting.
Paul realised early on that specialisation was the best way to provide a superior service. By specialising in on-site, labour only / supply and fix joinery contracts, processes could be developed and skills honed until O’Donnell Joinery was the best in the business. Not only that, Paul went further and developed particular skills in the installation of roof structures and the construction of timber framed buildings. Only by undertaking a great many of these projects have we developed the skill and expertise to become the biggest and best joinery contractor in the North West.
As a labour only / supply and fix joinery contractor, clearly people are our most important asset. We take great care and a lot of time and effort to ensure that all our joiners are fully trained in all aspects of the work they will undertake. This includes not just joinery skills, but lifting and hoisting (all our joiners are trained Slinger Banksmen), project management and customer care.
Our commitment to our people, however, is underpinned by the investment we make in Health & Safety. Nothing is higher on our agenda. We take our responsibility to ensure the Health and Safety of our own people and those working around us on site very seriously indeed.
Whilst we work nationwide, we have retained our base in the North West; the region’s extensive motorway network provides easy access to any part of the country whilst we remain true to our Bolton roots.
